So here's an oldie but a goody! This book got me into reading and has so many wonderful memories attached to it. I can remember Papa reading it to me when I was little. I remember feeling unbelievable sadness when Marta died, and the joy of the Larson's getting to Uncle Olaf's farm. This is the first chapter book I remember reading, and even though right now I could sit down and read the whole thing in 45 minutes, the story and the memories endure still today.
