Spring is nearly here

Spring is nearly here and things are starting to work out.
David got a raise and a bonus so we're making progress on paying off our debt.
Natalia is finally healthy again.

The only thing that's going "wrong" (and I use that term lightly) is that we are still waiting on our building permit to come through so we can break ground. I had hoped to break ground at the end of February. We are now almost half way through March without a permit. It's a little bit frustrating but the builder doesn't seem worried yet. So I'll cool my jets.

The weather is absolutely insane here in Vancouver. March has come in like a Lion and hopefully will go out like a Lamb. For now we are bracing for more hurricane force winds and buckets of rain. Natalia is loving being able to stomp in the puddles that have taken over the sidewalks.

Hopefully, my next post will have good news about the house. For now, just keep your fingers crossed for us.
