Apartment!

YAY I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO LIVE THIS SUMMER!!! WOOHOO!!!
Yesterday I signed a lease for my new apartment along with my two new roommates, Shianne and Logan.
It's 2 bedroom 1 bath; really nice, and very cute! I'm so excited. Move in is May 7th! Which perfectly coincides with Finals week. Lucky for me I have only one final!
My roommates have furniture, all I need is my bedroom stuff! My hope is mom and dad will drive my stuff out here, because they love me!!!! *winkwink* Shianne is also bringing a 150 gallon fish tank! How crazy is that?! Of course my hamster Romeo will be coming out to live with me now, and a cat may come into play next fall. It all depends on finances of course and whether its economically responsible to pay $800 to have a cat in the apartment... So we'll see, I'd really love to have a cat or small dog around, but that's just me. This is a long term apartment so maybe next year or the year after?!
I'll let everyone know what the new address is sometimes in early May hopefully!
xoxo

UPDATE:
THESE ROOMMATES DITCHED ME...

Silly Poem

It's 1am on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I'm watching Dirty Jobs, eating "dinner" (lean pocket) and chatting online with friends in Seattle... OH AND WRITING SILLY POETRY!!!

Stripped Socks

Brown,
White,
Blue,
Green,
Stripes on my socks,
Warm,
Long,
Fuzzy,
Wool,
Socks on my feet!!!

My Pink High Heels
Hot pink,
Spikey heel,
My pink heels are great,
Make me feel so hot,
Clicking,
Tripping,
There I go doing my best to walk,
Down I go into snow,
"ouch!"
"my ankle!"
People laugh at me,
Maybe my pink high heels ain't worth it.

Spring break 2009 & other updates!!!!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I haven't written in a while, its been so busy!!!
Spring break was awesome! Not Cancun or anything, but still lots of fun and lots of outdoors!Lots of smiles and lots of pictures!
http://bozemanadventurepictures.shutterfly.com
This is a link to my new photo album so I can post pictures and keep everyone in the loop with my pictures too!!! You can find this address permanently under the "links" on the side bar.
Ok, so spring break I:
-Drove to Pullman to get David then drove back to Bozeman, stopping in Coeur D' Alene for a world famous Hudson burger. We also stopped in Bear Mouth to be adventurers and find the pictographs dad once took me to. We couldn't find them.
-On Saint Patrick's Day David and I drove out to the Crow Agency and spent a day at the Little Big Horn Battlefield. It was an incredibly beautiful day and the sky was so blue and it was almost warm. We saw some beautiful wild horses and drove over to the Reno-Benteen battlefield also, just 4 miles east of Little Big Horn.
-Spent the week with the Vosler family, and enjoyed just chilling with their kids.
-On that Friday we joined the Vosler family in a trip to Yellowstone National Park. We drove down to Gardener on Thursday night. David and I got a hotel room at the Abaroska Lodge and had a gorgeous view out on to the Yellowstone River. We spent Friday in the park and explored Mammoth Hot Springs, the Lamar Valley, and enjoyed a delicious lunch in Cooke City (best chicken wings EVER). We saw lots of buffalo and elk, a few sheep, and all hoped and prayed for a wolf sighting (to no avail).
-At the end of the week David and I drove back to Pullman (stopped in Coeur D' Alene again for another burger or two) so David could get to work on Saturday night.
-On Monday I drove back to Bozeman alone. It was a sad goodbye but I made it back to Bozeman in one piece. Being me I had to find those pictographs I remember so vividly from my childhood. I pulled off at Bear Mouth and searched for them again. After 45 minutes of searching I found them! Of course I looked for them in the wrong spot for 30 minutes, encountered a barbed wire fence, climbed up a very unstable rock face, and was an all around crazy kid in the backwoods of Montana. After giving up and climbing back over the barbed wire fence I got back in my truck and drove a little farther, as I was looking out the window low and behold what do I see? The pictographs staring me right in the face... What a rush I got climbing through the little wooded area and up the rock bank, and coming face to face with the ancient drawings. It was beautiful. Pictures are posted in my album!
This week has been pretty crazy too, I started my EMT-b class. It's going to be difficult but really fun, I can tell already. I'm hoping my equipment gets here soon!!! I need it starting Sunday! Well cross your fingers for me! I'm going to go study CPR!

Main Street Update & other things

Main Street:
Still in pieces...
Most stores (those not destroyed) have re-opened and are cleaning up after the blast. All the buildings around the blast had to be inspected to make sure they didn't collapse too.
A body was recovered, just one. They haven't identified it. We've all assumed its was the one unaccounted for person.
White Hall (town not too far from here) also decided to burn down multiple Main Street stores on Friday (the Bozeman blast was on Thursday).
God hates southwestern Montana is what my seminar class has decided. Its too bad too, I mean SW Montana is beautiful!
Other things:
-I can't get warm. It doesn't matter what I do I'm always cold. I sleep with a wool blanket, two fleece blankets, and my super thick blanket from japan. It's ridiculous. I'm not sick.. but I can't get warm. My roommate claims its too hot in the room and sleeps without blankets. What's my problem?
-Spring break is only a couple of days away! As much as I'd like to be one of the girls headed to Cancun, I'm not. Instead I'll be driving to Pullman, then driving back with David. Spending the week here in Bozeman. Then at the end of the week driving back to Pullman and then back to Bozeman alone. In between the driving to Pullman and back David and I are going to Yellowstone and Little Bighorn. We may take a walk down Main Street even.
-Big lesson of the week:
When bargain hunting for weekend groceries don't buy milk in a carton and don't buy the cheap frozen macaroni!
Let me explain... When you buy milk in a carton instead of jug it has a funny cardboard taste and isn't quite as milky delicious like milk should be! And macaroni... well we all know Stouffers microwave macaroni and cheese is cheesy and delicious correct? (correct!) We also know that its a little spendy at $4.00 a box (a single serving can last me about 1 meal and a snack). Well Safeway thinks they're so tricky selling their own version of the macaroni and cheese... BUT IT SUCKS. Go ahead and buy the cheap generic pop, or deoderant,
But whatever you do, DON'T BUY GENERIC MACARONI!!!
I hope you can all learn from my mistake of buying generic macaroni...

Buh-bye Main Street

So a large chunk of Main Street Bozeman is now gone. Boodles, the Rockin R Bar, and a couple other buildings have been destroyed due to a gas line explosion. As of right now there is one person unaccounted for. Three blocks of main street are closed and a 20 block radius from the area has been evacuated.
Here's the cnn link:

I'm ok, so don't worry about me! Lets hope we can rebuild in time for summer tourism.

Snowy Windy Blizzardy Night

It's Wednesday night and there's not a lot to do. There's really been nothing new in my life since the last time I wrote. I spent Valentines day weekend in Pullman with David but other than that not a lot has occurred in the almost month I haven't written. Tonight the snow just keeps coming down and the wind keeps blowing. My roommate is out braving the cold so she can go play racket ball with her new love interest. She's so much more athletic then I am, I'm almost jealous. I say almost. I tend to be a better student then she is. We all have our abilities, she's athletic, I'm academically inclined.
I hope to hear from everyone!
